The unit is rugged, fully insulated and operates from the vehicles 12 Volt DC Electrical System. Thousands are in use throughout every climate of the North America.
The machine is 20" wide by 22.5" deep. It is 10.75" tall and 22" high with the lid open.
The total weight is 33LBS.
The 18700 series meets or exceeds the requirements of the API MPMS Chapter 10.4 "Determination of Water and Sediment in Crude Oil by Centrifuge (Field Method)

All major repairs can be done to this unit without taking it out of the vehicle. The motor comes out through the top of its housing. The electrical components are in the box on the front of the machine and the entire box can be replaced without taking it out of service. The heating pads are the only item requiring removal of the centrifuge.
