The Extech EX623 400A True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter is a versatile 5-in-1 clamp meter specifically designed for plant, HVAC/R and electrical professionals working on commercial and industrial installations. The EX623 accurately measures AC and DC current & voltage using a generous 36mm jaw opening that is capable of handling conductors up to 500MCM and the DC microamp function is ideal for flame rod current measurements. It has a built-in Non-Contact Voltage Detector with LED alert. Additionally the EX623 current clamp meter offers True RMS measurements for increased accuracy AC Voltage and Current measurements. The infrared thermometer and laser pointer included in this multi-function clamp meter make non-contact temperature readings, ideal for finding hot spots fast, simply and safely. The Dual Type K thermocouple inputs take differential readings that make superheat and sub-cooling temperature measurements easier to perform.
